Job summary

Asahi Kasei Bioprocess America, Inc. seeks a Production Manager – Bioprocess Systems to lead the assembly and wiring of fluid management equipment for the biopharmaceutical market.

This role focuses on production leadership, planning, and cross-functional alignment to deliver safety, on-time, quality, and cost targets. The Production Manager works with Project Management, Engineering, Quality, and Design to maximize capacity, build standard products for stock, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Technical certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, equipment assembly, or similar production environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience with direct team responsibility.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015 preferred) and cGMP environments.
• Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead the systems assembly team with clear accountability and performance expectations.
• Own production planning and scheduling for systems builds based on project demand.
• Partner with Project Management to align production with the pipeline and customer delivery.
• Forecast and optimize capacity, negotiate temporary labor when needed.
• Communicate production status and risks across all levels of the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain a safe, quality-focused culture.
