Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking an Engineer - I (Assistant) for a pharmaceutical client in West Point, PA. This is a 12-month contract with potential extensions, on a W2 basis, with ACA-compliant supplemental package but no PTO or benefits.

The role focuses on lab-based bioprocess operations, including adjuvant/LNP and tangential flow filtration, plus analytical instrumentation. A BS is preferred, and strong data interpretation and technical writing are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with adjuvant and LNP processing is a plus.
• Experience with tangential flow filtration processing - microfiltration/ultrafiltration.
• Comfortable in a lab environment.
• Scientific understanding of downstream bioprocess purification processes.
• Scientific understanding of purification operations of large complex molecules.
• Technical understanding of bioprocess scaling principles.
• Wet chemistry laboratory skills (pipetting, buffer preparation, filtration, dilution, stoichiometry).
• Proficiency with lab records (laboratory notebooks, chemical inventory, data management).
• Excellent collaborative and team-working skills.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities, data interpretation and presentation competence.
