Job summary

AstraZeneca's Frederick Manufacturing Center is hiring Production Technician I–III to operate processing equipment in a 12-hour rotating day shift (6 AM–6:30 PM). Roles require following cGMP/SOPs, preparing solutions, cell culture, purification and formulation, with MES documentation and ongoing training to advance through Tech I–III.

Applicants should have 0–3 years experience varying by level, and possess computer skills; degrees may substitute for experience at higher levels.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cGMP standards and SOPs.
• Ability to operate processing equipment and follow instructions.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work in teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment per SOPs, MPRs and SPRs under cGMP.
• Prepare solutions, handle cell culture, purification and formulation tasks.
• Train with a qualified technician to become fully qualified on the line.
• Execute cGMP documentation and use MES for manufacturing records.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement on the production floor.
