Job summary

A global discovery and manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Bioprocess Lead (Upstream) in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations in biologics manufacturing, provide leadership to junior staff, and ensure compliance with cGMP standards. This full-time role requires at least 4 years of experience and a relevant degree. Flexibility for a 24/7 manufacturing schedule is essential, along with strong knowledge in bioprocessing techniques.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in biologics manufacturing in either upstream or downstream.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and cleanroom operations.
• Experience with new facility startup, equipment commissioning/qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to junior staff during batch execution.
• Ensure strict adherence to cGMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support technology transfer efforts by assisting with SOP and MBR drafting.
