Job summary

POET is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure efficient repair and preventative maintenance of equipment in our Iowa Falls facility. The position requires a proactive approach to safety, efficient communication, and the ability to work within a team oriented environment.

Successful candidates will possess strong skills in welding, fabrication, and equipment repair, and will uphold the standards of our safety and environmental compliance culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication, welding, cutting, and repair of equipment.
• Knowledge of boiler operations and water chemistry.
• Ability to read schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks on all plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform LOTO functions.
• Train new team members in the Maintenance Department.
