Job summary

POET in Ashton, IA is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and install instrument/electrical systems at our bioprocessing facility. You will follow electrical codes, calibrate instruments, and support 24/7 plant operations with call-ins as needed.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree in electrical training, journeyman or master license, and hands-on experience with high-voltage systems (4160V, 480V).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical training required.
• Journeyman or Master license preferred depending on location.
• Thorough knowledge of standard electrical equipment and work practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and identify root cause, repair or replace parts, rewire and install instrument/electrical goods.
• Ensure work follows local electrical codes including 4160V, 480V, 220V, 110V, 24V DC and 4-20 mA loops.
• Calibrate, configure, and repair measurement/control instruments for flow, level, pressure, temperature, and pH.
