Job summary

VARITE is seeking a Scientist II (Analytical Science) for an onsite role in Ridgefield, CT. The position supports lab work for advanced modalities, with a 12-month contract and potential extension.

Requires Master’s degree with 4+ years or Bachelor’s with 5+ years in related fields; pay range $40.04–$42.90/hr on W2; US citizen or GC only. Work authorization and compliance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 4+ years in a related field or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in a related field.
• Experience with wet chemistry preparation methods and chromatography.
• Ability to plan and conduct laboratory experiments, evaluate data, and report results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-level lab work for new therapeutic modalities.
• Lead in implementing experimental studies to build product/process knowledge.
• Design and execute non-routine experiments with minimal supervision.
• Present findings in project/team meetings and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
• Write protocols, SOPs, and technical reports following company policies.
• Apply scientific principles and literature to projects and ensure compliant practices.
