Job summary

Syner-G in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Project Manager to serve as owner’s representative on large, complex lab and cGMP manufacturing construction projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate scheduling, commissioning, safety, and documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years of related experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid track record in GMP environments.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience on large, complex projects in biotech or pharma
• Experience as owner’s representative on large, complex construction projects
• Experience in GMP environments (cGMP)
• Experience on multi-employer construction sites
• Experience from design through commissioning to handover
• Experience writing commissioning strategies/plans and SOPs
• Experience supervising large sub-contractor teams
• Experience coordinating equipment purchases and movement
• Experience decommissioning, packing, and moving equipment
• Experience reviewing site safety documentation and ensuring compliance
• Proficiency with ProCore, E-Builder, Prolog or similar PM software
• Experience designing and handing over lab/building systems
• Experience close-out of large projects with proper documentation and financials
• Experience using a CMMS (Maximo, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Act as owner’s representative on large, complex construction projects in lab/office or cGMP environments.
• Coordinate multi-employer sites and scheduling for commissioning teams and movers.
• Lead design to construction to commissioning transitions and write commissioning plans.
• Review technical submissions from architectural/engineering teams and system integrators.
• Ensure safety procedures and site documentation meet project standards.
• Manage procurement, receipt, and movement of equipment on site.
• Supervise sub-contractor teams for start-up and commissioning of equipment.
• Maintain project documentation and financial obligations for close-out.
