Avantor is seeking a Product Technical Support Representative for a fully remote position with limited travel for training and on-site support. Candidates must reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zones to align with customer and team needs.

The role focuses on identifying customer product needs, supporting global sales channels, and providing engineering‑level troubleshooting and documentation. A science background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field is required.
• Internship or coursework in technical concepts is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer product needs and contribute to increasing sales by recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Support global sales channels and international customer networks during pre-sale and post-sale activities.
• Assist customers in buying decisions and identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities to add value during lead qualification.
• Provide engineering‑level troubleshooting via phone, email, and on-site where applicable.
• Create and maintain product documentation and support materials as needed.
