Job summary

MPN Research Foundation seeks an experienced head of Biopharma Engagement to lead biopharma industry relationships and advance patient-centered research. Reporting to the CEO, the candidate will nurture collaborations with biotechnology and pharma partners, align industry goals with Foundation mission, and drive multi-year engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in biopharma or life sciences consulting.
• Direct experience with drug development and patient advocacy intersection.
• Strong relationship-building and strategic engagement skills.
• Familiarity with CRM and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead biopharma industry and life science company relationships in collaboration with internal leadership.
• Design and execute a robust, multi-year industry engagement strategy with measurable goals.
• Develop action plans and engagement tactics for each company in the MPN space with sponsorship/partnership options.
• Track evolving science to identify and engage new biopharma partners.
• Establish trusted relationships across Research, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Commercial teams within biopharma firms.
• Understand industry norms, strategies, and therapeutic development lifecycle relevant to MPN assets.
• Ensure biopharma engagement is well represented and aligned with Foundation values.
• Develop and manage sponsorship agreements and ensure delivery of value to funders.
• Collaborate with team members to manage projects and engagement activities for industry partners.
• Support fundraising strategies through industry partnerships.
• Track procurement and engagement processes across industry partners, manage meeting logistics and contacts.
• Assist with CRM-based management of industry relationships and data alignment.
• Coordinate messaging and content development across biopharma interests.
