Job summary

Scientific Protein Laboratories (SPL) in Waunakee, WI, just outside Madison, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to contribute to pilot and commercial scale production for APIs in a CDMO context. The role involves following cGMPs, SOPs, and supporting validation and lab studies under supervision.

We seek entry-level candidates with a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree in biotechnology is preferred. First shift hours are 6am–6pm, with weekend options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Preferred associate degree in biotechnology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform pilot and commercial scale production for GMP/non-GMP products.
• Document work and follow cGMPs and SOPs.
• Support validation, research studies and lab experiments.
• Assist Quality Control, QA and Validation teams.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment; order supplies as needed.
• Work safely with acids, caustics and solvents with PPE.
