Job summary

EMD Serono in the United States seeks a weekend Manufacturing Operator to produce biopharmaceutical filtration devices with strong emphasis on safety, quality and productivity. You will learn rapidly, operate across multiple work centers, and contribute to back-order recovery while meeting customer demand.

The role includes a weekend D-shift (6am–6pm Sat & Sun) and opportunities to participate in site training and continuous improvement projects within a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' manufacturing experience in GMP environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10-hour general industry course or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn multiple processes and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Flex working hours between weekdays and weekends for training and production time.
• Manufacture quality products safely and per SOPs, GMP, Quality and Safety specs.
• Safely operate manufacturing process, monitor inputs/outputs.
• Support line opening/closing via material control and machine setup.
• Complete documentation per GMP standards.
• Maintain clean and orderly workspace; identify safety, quality, productivity concerns.
• Escalate issues to minimize downtime and material loss; assist in troubleshooting.
• Coach and train operators; review lot records and ERP reconciliation; contribute to continuous improvement.
