Job summary

Biogen, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician at our RTP site to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on complex process equipment and utilities in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Reliability teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure GMP compliance and accurate documentation in TrackWise and CMMS systems. The role supports capital projects and spare parts planning while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Mechanical systems knowledge; familiarity with electrical and control systems.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and maintenance tracking.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Reliability teams to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Perform and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on process equipment and utilities.
• Provide technical direction to maintenance technicians and junior team members.
• Support reliability programs, including spare parts strategy and lifecycle management.
• Act as SME for maintenance in capital projects and ensure maintainability.
