BTIG, a global financial services firm, seeks an experienced Biopharma Investment Banking Associate in New York. You will support senior bankers on IPOs, private placements, and M&A, while building complex financial models and client materials.

The role emphasizes deep biopharma knowledge, deal execution, and mentoring junior team members, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Licensing requirements include SIE, Series 63, and Series 79.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in investment banking biopharma vertical at bulge bracket or middle-market bank.
• Experience with equity capital markets, M&A, and strategic advisory.
• Deep understanding of biopharma business models, therapeutic areas, and drug development timelines.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 63, and Series 79 are required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide transaction support to senior bankers on IPOs, Follow-Ons, PIPEs, Private Placements, and M&A.
• Build detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, comps).
• Prepare client presentations and offering memoranda.
• Conduct due diligence and industry research on companies, pipelines, and therapeutic areas.
• Monitor public market activity and trends in biopharma.
• Interact with clients and investors during due diligence and execution.
