Job summary

Moelis & Company in New York is seeking an Associate to join the Pharma Services & MedTech team. You will lead financial analysis and execution, building models and presenting ideas to clients alongside senior bankers.

The role requires strong modeling skills, M&A exposure, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams. An MBA or direct Analyst-to-Associate promotion is preferred; an undergraduate finance/economics background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in finance, business, economics, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent MBA track preferred for advancement.
• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance or M&A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and review financial and valuation models including DCF, comps, and precedent analyses.
• Assess pharma services and MedTech drivers and translate into forecasts and valuations.
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction analyses for senior bankers and clients.
• Support M&A, financing, and advisory execution including due diligence and coordination with advisors.
• Research pharma services and MedTech markets and translate insights into origination ideas.
• Manage workstreams and mentor Analysts while coordinating with teams.
