Job summary

Amgen is seeking a CLEAN UTILITIES ENGINEER at the North Carolina site to deliver daily engineering support for utility systems. You will own system integrity, coordinate design, startup, and commissioning, and drive improvements across plant utilities in a GMP environment.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in chemical/mechanical engineering, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED with 8 years of Engineering/Maintenance experience or
• Associate’s degree with 6 years of Engineering/Maintenance experience or
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of Engineering/Maintenance experience or
• Master’s degree

Responsibilities

• Provide system ownership for Utility systems and equipment supporting site operations.
• Support design, construction, startup, commissioning and qualification of new or modified systems.
• Develop maintenance programs and ensure spare parts availability.
• Ensure safety, GMP compliance and regulatory alignment of systems.
