Job summary

Amgen, a leader in biopharmaceuticals, seeks a CLEAN UTILITIES ENGINEER to own utility systems at the site and oversee design, startup, commissioning, and qualification of new or modified systems. You will lead risk-reduction initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain compliant, safe operations.

The role involves 24x7 on-call support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with manufacturing, QA, and validation to ensure GMP adherence and reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years engineering/maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Standing knowledge of GMP Biopharmaceutical Production facility utilities.
• Experience in regulated environments with change control and validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide system ownership for Utility systems and equipment.
• Design, construct, start up, and qualify new or modified systems.
• Lead maintenance and upgrade projects with cost-benefit analysis.
• Develop equipment maintenance programs and ensure spare parts availability.
• Ensure GMP and safety compliance across systems.
• Support 24x7 on-call for utility systems on a rotating basis.
