Job summary

Bio-Techne Nordic is seeking an experienced Life Science Sales professional to drive revenue across Biopharma accounts in the Nordics. You will engage with key opinion leaders, manage large accounts, and expand presence through both digital and on-site activities.

You will travel 3–4 days weekly, build strategic regional plans, and collaborate with product specialists to capture large pharma opportunities and funding. English fluency is required; Danish/Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • BSc in a biological subject, preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ Life Science Sales experience.
  • Fluent in English; Danish/Swedish a plus.
  • Experience using digital platforms for customer engagement.

Pay Range Sweden: SEK377,100 - SEK603,480

Pay Range Denmark: DKK342,900 - DKK548,700

Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.

Position Summary

This position will hold responsibility for driving and expanding business throughout Biopharma accounts within the Nordics. Account responsibility includes large Pharma, Biotechs and Contract Research. In this position you will be expected to maintain an extremely high level of customer and market knowledge. You will be expected to deliver a strong level of new revenue through engagement of new and existing key opinion leaders as well as spending 3-4 days per week visiting customers in person.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Pro-actively engage current and new customers through a variety of communication routes including in-person, digital platforms, phone, email, and social media.
  • Support key customer relationships and expand the revenue impact from these groups through both Digital and in person engagement.
  • Develop strategic regional activities tailored to the biopharma market in relation to trending research areas, executing these within target accounts in the territory.
  • Work closely with our product specialist teams to develop Account Specific Strategies to capitalise on large pharma opportunities and key venture capital funding, including set up of joint visits and Bio-Techne workshop days.
  • Identify and utilise a range of innovative techniques to gain increased product awareness and expand product market presence.
  • Increase the Bio-Techne strategic partnerships within key accounts.
  • Utilise commercial data to drive revenue generating activities, ability to identify key areas of focus and justify this focus.
  • Ensure the customer base within your accounts deliver growth by understanding their current goals and how the Bio-Techne portfolio supports this.
  • Maintain and expand relations with high profile contacts, including Procurement Teams and Senior Directors. Focused on increased level of large deals executed within the Biopharma market.
  • Develop strategies to impact routine purchasing from Accounts through e-commerce and Framework channels
  • Utilize artificial intelligence to maximise your efficiency within the role and support a high quantity and quality of customer engagement.
  • Take the lead on wider key account strategies to drive positive impact into the wider NAR region.
  • Proficient networking and event engagement. Utilise account insight to know which events Bio-Techne need to attend and develop strategic approach to engage Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Build strong understanding of key biotech networks within your territory and build relationships with senior stakeholders to increase Bio-Techne brand adoption.
  • Embed and promote the EPIC values in all areas of work, maintaining the company’s culture, ethics, and people engagement.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
  • BSc in a biological based subject
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Life Science Sales
  • Fluent in English, preferably Danish and/or Swedish
  • Strong understanding of the life science market in the Nordics and growth areas.
  • Experience in digital platforms to enable customer engagement, utilising understanding of customers data and financial analysis to identify suitable targets.
  • Experience of using own initiative and working in a target driven environment
  • Ability to track return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Track record of developing your own strategies and successfully executing within a competitive market.
  • Possess excellent IT skills; including experience of working with databases, Office Outlook, using Excel, Word and Copilot are essential.
