HID Global in the United States is seeking a Software QA Engineer to strengthen the test team focused on manual testing of biometric systems. You will execute tests, prepare environments, and collaborate with developers to identify defects.

You will participate in the full test lifecycle across biometric libraries, drivers, middleware and applications. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and structured thinking, with opportunities to contribute to test docs and reports.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. TestRail, Jira).
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to reproduce and isolate issues effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Participating in test planning and creation of test cases.
• Execute functional, regression and exploratory tests.
• Setting up and maintaining test environments (primarily Windows and Linux).
