Job summary
Cadent, powered by Syneos Health, is seeking a medical writer with strong scientific writing and literature review skills to develop educational content across oncology, pulmonary, or diabetes areas. You will distill complex data into clear, impactful medical communications, working with internal teams and clients, and traveling up to 10% as needed.
The role requires PhD/MD/PharmD and 0–1 year pharma or medical communications experience.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD/MD/PharmD; pharma or medical comm agency experience preferred (0–1 year).
- Proficient in MS Office and medical literature databases (PubMed/EMBASE).
- Ability to distill complex science into clear medical content.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with deadline discipline.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative scientific narratives for medical communication needs.
- Create educational slides, decks, messaging documents, brochures, and digital/print content.
- Synthesize and visualize data for medical assets.
- Conduct literature searches and interpret complex data for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with internal medical team on content for programs.
- Participate in client meetings and incorporate feedback.
