Job summary

Trimedx in the United States is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted patient care and safety for clinicians.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and guide safe equipment use while maintaining precise documentation and inventory control, enabling timely clinical decisions and uptime. This role requires travel and a strong tech background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
• Strong technical skills (systems, diagnostics, hardware repair, error code interpretation).
• Associate degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (or TRIMEDX certification).
• CBET Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance, repair, and calibration of complex clinical equipment—keeping care uninterrupted.
• Ensure critical medical equipment is safe, accurate, and ready when clinicians need it.
• Guide clinicians on safe, effective equipment use
• Strengthen operations through accurate documentation, compliance, and smart inventory control
