Qualifications

• Keyboard data entry and report generation.
• Direct communication with vendors and customers.
• Perform basic technical service activities and calibration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assess new technology and assist in procurement of clinical equipment.
• Establish and implement data collection plans for new technology.
• Review pre-purchase evaluations.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate medical electrical equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs and calibrations on biomedical devices (ECG, monitors, pumps, defibrillators, anesthesia units, etc.).
• Initiate preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Oversee device utilization and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accrediting agencies.
