The Biomedical Technician I shall focus on learning how to repair medical products. The Biomedical Technician I will learn to work independently, as well as, in a team environment while under direct supervision. This individual may attend factory training classes and apply lessons learned through OJT training and experience. Additionally, the Technician will begin by assisting in preventative maintenance and service repair. With rapid progress in the knowledge of medical products, this individual will display the ability to resolve routine technical problems independently. This position may have additional tasks assigned that are within scope of the role.
High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or equivalent training/experience in electronics or Biomedical Engineering preferred. Previous experience in at least one specialty area relating to the field of biomedical equipment repair preferred.
