Knowesis Inc. is seeking a Biomedical Research Grants Coordinator based in Ft Detrick, MD. This hybrid role involves providing administrative oversight for research awards funded by CDMRP, covering all phases from pre-award to closeout.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and experience in scientific record keeping. Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills are essential. Benefits include health plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Experience with scientific record keeping and a basic understanding of the research grant funding processes.
• Strong communication, organization, and scientific writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the maintenance of award administrative records in the Electronic Grants System (EGS).
• Confirm that progress reports adhere to the appropriate template/format and reporting requirements.
• Evaluate projects for scientific and/or budgetary overlap.
• Update EGS to reflect appropriately formatted award outputs during the award period.
• Complete post-award follow-up to capture related publications, patents, presentations.
• Assist with award coding/classification, data capture, and alignment for reporting.
