Job summary

Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a New Product Development- R&D ICTx Co-op. Work with cross-functional teams to advance next-generation medical devices, bridging design, process development and assurance to launch life-saving devices.

You will gain hands-on design and testing experience, tackle real customer needs, and contribute to a culture of innovation in a medical device environment. This 8-month co-op requires in-person work four days a week.

Qualifications

• Must graduate between December 2027 and Spring 2029.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Biomechanics.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish state-of-the-art methods for coronary artery therapies.
• Conduct design and testing in a hands-on setting addressing unmet customer needs.
• Perform experiments to support design characterization and test method development.
• Analyze data from feasibility and verification testing and present findings to R&D.
• Support test protocol development to ensure product safety and reliability.
• Participate in design reviews to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Document engineering activities in line with quality systems and regulatory guidelines.
