Job summary

RENOVO Solutions is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to service clinical and imaging equipment in a hospital setting. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and install a broad range of devices, working with infusion pumps, monitors, anesthesia machines, and X-ray/CT/MRI systems.

You will document work in RenovoLive CMMS and manage OEM updates, performing installations and timely maintenance. Strong communication, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards are

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or equivalent preferred; equivalent military or field experience considered.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience servicing and maintaining medical equipment in a hospital or clinical setting (experience with both general biomedical and imaging equipment strongly preferred).
Successful completion of Basic Level I and Level II Imaging Equipment Service Training through an accredited Independent Training Organization, OEM, or equivalent military program preferred.
Proficient with electromechanical devices, computerized biomedical systems, diagnostic imaging equipment, error code interpretation, and service software.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organizational, and priority-setting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate general biomedical equipment (infusion pumps, patient monitors, defibrillators, respiratory equipment, beds, EKG, anesthesia, OR equipment) and imaging systems (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy).
Interpret signals using blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic software; perform installations and planned maintenance.
Document all work in RENOVO’s CMMS (RenovoLive) and manage OEM updates, upgrades, and field modifications.
Assist with major repairs in collaboration with senior technicians and ensure patient safety and compliance.
Provide clear equipment status updates and communicate service plans to clinical leadership and staff.
