Position Overview

The Field Service Technician I – COE conducts cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment primarily at customer sites to ensure proper functioning and meet customer needs. Responsibilities include operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair. This position involves nationwide travel, returning home on weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, calibration, and repair on medical devices.
  • Accurately complete paperwork and data entry for billing and compliance.
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding equipment features and functionality.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent military training or CBET certification.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, at least 70% annually, including overnight stays.
  • Basic computer skills; understanding of networks and equipment interaction.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical activities like bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
