Job summary

WRNMMC seeks Biomedical Equipment Technicians to evaluate, install, maintain, diagnose, repair, calibrate, and test medical devices, including high risk and life support equipment. The role requires extensive MDE knowledge, strong troubleshooting, and ability to document issues per regulatory standards.

Shifts run Monday–Friday with time windows 6:45am–5:00pm or 2:30pm–11:30pm. Candidates must meet safety and documentation requirements and can expect a comprehensive benefits package and career

Qualifications

• Graduate of a military BMET Course or a higher education degree in Biomedical Technology or Engineering.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in repair and maintenance of Medical Devices & Equipment (MDE).
• AAMI Certification (Preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, install, maintain, diagnose, repair, calibrate, and test MDE, including high risk and life support MDE.
• Document investigation of equipment hazard alerts, recalls, updates, and incidents.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and test electronic equipment.
