Job summary

Medasource is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support medical equipment maintenance in a healthcare environment. The role ensures devices function safely through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

The incumbent will perform PMs, diagnose and repair devices such as infusion pumps, patient monitors, and beds, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper operation. Independent work and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with a variety of biomedical devices (e.g., infusion pumps, patient monitors, beds).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and safety inspections on biomedical equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of medical devices
• Respond to service requests and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner
• Document all service activities, maintenance, and repairs accurately
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper equipment operation and usage
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and basic configuration
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
