Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Biomedical Specialist to service patient care equipment, install, maintain, calibrate, and repair a broad range of devices with minimal supervision. You will keep detailed maintenance records and participate in on-call rotation to ensure equipment reliability.

Qualified candidates have an associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics, a valid driver's license, and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology / Electronics or related field required.
Valid Driver's license.
AMI or ICC certification preferred.
Minimum 1 year servicing electronic equipment, hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and calibration of medical equipment.
Operate test equipment and hand tools to service devices.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and on-call duties as required.
Provide user training and collaborate with clinical staff.
