TRIMEDX is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision at our Rochester-area site. The role also involves providing guidance to clinical staff and developing equipment specifications.

The ideal candidate will meet a technical degree or military equivalent, have 3+ years of BI equipment experience, CBET preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• Associates degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military experience or two years of equivalent experience.
• Technical Certification (CBET) strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Valid driver’s license required; travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex biomedical equipment.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure service delivery.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
