Job summary

Capital i seeks a Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician II at Hill AFB to conduct inspections, calibrations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on patient care equipment. You will work with Defense logistics systems and coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, risk assessment, and participation in equipment evaluations, with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum BMET experience, DoD certification or equivalent education.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% as required by client.
• Ability to pass background screening and provide legal work documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect new, used, or reconditioned medical equipment.
• Perform maintenance actions: repairs, calibrations, PMCS, overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Use military logistics systems (DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, GCSS).
• Coordinate with manufacturers for support and updates.
• Document maintenance actions accurately and timely.
• Support inventory management and deployment planning.
• Assist in evaluating new biomedical equipment.
