Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Technologies or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years in an acute-care hospital setting, or five years with CBET within six months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Installs, repairs, and calibrates clinical equipment at a component level.
- Performs scheduled/preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
- Repairs patient care equipment and PCs to board/module level using schematics and test equipment.
- Maintains service records and communicates repair status to customers.
- Coordinates service activity with vendors and other technicians and supports clinical staff.
