Job summary

Capital i seeks a Biomedical Equipment Repair Technician II at Hill Air Force Base (Hill AFB), Utah, to operate and test patient care equipment, perform maintenance, repairs, calibrations and overhauls, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 25–50% travel, is Monday–Friday 07:00–15:30, and demands DoD BMET training or CBET/AAS credentials; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, BMET’s shall be a graduate of the DoD Medical Equipment Repairers Course or certified through CBET or have at least earned an AAS in Medical Equipment Technology.
• Minimum two (2) years of BMET experience.
• Knowledge maintenance actions: inspections, repair, calibrations/PMCS, and overhauls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical inspections of medical equipment.
• Perform maintenance actions, including repairs, calibrations/PMCS, and overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with military and federal regulations.
• Utilize Army systems such as DMLSS, SAMS-E, TEWLS, GCSS.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors for support.
• Maintain maintenance documentation per regulations.
• Assist in risk assessment and preventive maintenance.
• Support inventory management and equipment deployment.
• Participate in evaluation of new equipment.
