Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking a Biomedical Technician to perform advanced repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on medical equipment and systems. You will conduct equipment evaluations, provide technical consultations, and support technology management while working with customers and teammates to optimize performance and minimize downtime.

The role requires strong problem-solving, technical expertise, and customer service abilities, with periodic local travel to support health-system

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree/Technical School or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience supporting biomedical electronics or related technologies.
• Preferred Experience working in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic, electrical, and mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and ensure PM compliance.
• Evaluate equipment, provide technical consultations, and assist in capital asset management.
• Install equipment and conduct incoming inspections; coordinate with vendors.
• Document work orders and maintain the service database with accurate records.
