Job summary

Eightelevengroup is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support maintenance and repair of medical equipment in a healthcare environment. The role ensures devices operate safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

The incumbent will perform PMs, diagnose issues, document activities, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper equipment operation and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with a variety of biomedical devices (e.g., infusion pumps, patient monitors, beds).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and safety inspections on biomedical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of medical devices.
• Respond to service requests and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Document all service activities, maintenance, and repairs accurately.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper equipment operation and usage.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and basic configuration.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
