Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking BMET I/II/Senior levels to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on general diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment. You will follow manufacturers' recommendations, document actions, and coordinate with clinical staff to minimize disruption while maintaining high service levels.

The role requires an AS degree in medical electronics or related field, 1–2 years of maintenance experience, and strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in medical electronics or related field.
  • 1–2 years of PM/CM experience on medical equipment.
  • Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic test equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission, FDA regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to train CE staff on equipment use.
  • PC literacy and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PM procedures on various medical equipment.
  • Perform CM procedures and diagnose problems using relevant sciences.
  • Notify users and CE management of repair status.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to minimize disruption.
  • Submit parts requests and maintain supply levels.
  • Document all work orders and maintenance actions.
  • Provide on-call coverage after hours.
  • Assist in training CE staff and improving processes.
