Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Computer Engineering.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and electrical safety inspections of clinical equipment.
• Maintains documentation and inspects/tests all newly purchased, evaluation, demo, leased or rented medical equipment.
• Determines cause of problems or malfunctions of minor medical equipment.
• Orders supplies and parts for preventative maintenance activities and services.
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities for self- development and enhancement of professional competency.
• Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.
