Job summary

Texas Health Resources, Inc. in Arlington, TX, is seeking a Biomed Technician I in HTM Biomed to perform inspections, maintenance, calibration, and repair of general biomedical equipment at the Arlington Memorial site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree or BMET training; CBET/CLES/CRES certifications are preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for on-site work and site access.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associates degree in information technology management, applied science, or related field; 2 years relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Military BMET training completion required.
• CBET/CLES/CRES certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on general biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate general biomedical equipment.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database including inventory, PA schedules, nomenclature, and service history.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status.
• Verify completion of security analysis for new customer equipment.
• Perform Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain complete inventory including trial/evaluation and loaner equipment.

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent

Associates of applied science / information technology management related field

2 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree

Successful completion of military BMET training

Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)

Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES)

Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES)
