Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to maintain, test, inspect, and repair a broad range of clinical equipment and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, manage equipment records, and support a responsive service desk.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of biomed maintenance experience; an Associate degree or CBET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years in Biomedical Electronics repair shop or 2 years general maintenance with biomedical instrumentation experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Equipment Technology preferred.
• CBET certification preferred.
• Technical School Biomedical Electronics training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, operates, tests, inspects, performs preventive maintenance and repairs all types of medical electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam equipment.
• Operates patient safety equipment and understands recorded data.
• Maintains equipment records and files on all equipment.
• Answers, transfers, picks up and responds to incoming telephone and electronic mail work request calls.
• Makes out purchase orders and restocks parts.
• Performs related duties as required.
