Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our Richmond, VA team in a permanent role. You will support clinical engineering operations, perform inspections, maintenance, and calibration of sophisticated medical devices.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of biomedical equipment experience, strong compliance discipline, and excellent client-facing skills. A valid driver’s license is required to travel for on-site service and customer sites.

Qualifications

• 1 year of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical engineering environment.
• Perform assurance, electrical, safety inspections and general maintenance.
• Repair, install, and calibrate highly complex biomedical equipment and systems.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and timely, accurate reporting of activities.
• Excellent client-facing service, relationship building, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform assurance, electrical and safety inspections on biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install and calibrate complex medical devices and systems.
• Document activities and maintain accurate records for compliance.
• Maintain inventory and make recommendations for related products.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and strong client relationships.
• Adhere to regulatory agency policies and procedures.
