Job summary

Prime Healthcare Management, Inc. seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician to support maintenance and repair of a wide range of medical devices across our facilities, including ER, imaging, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and ICU systems.

You will troubleshoot and ensure safe operation, coordinating with vendors as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field with 0–1 years of experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• Must have good verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 0-1 years’ experience preferred.
• Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of current medical equipment and develop methods and procedures for testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support for medical equipment maintenance.
• Oversee and participate in the design, fabrication, operation, application and installation of new or updates to current medical equipment.
• Conduct training to educate physicians, healthcare managers, clinicians, and staff on proper use of medical machinery.
• Maintain a database of correspondence with vendors and suppliers of medical equipment.
• Manage all medical equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors for replacements.
