ALPHA BIOMEDICAL & DIAGNOSTICS, INC. in Puerto Rico is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to install, inspect, test and maintain medical and diagnostic equipment in clinical environments.

Qualifikationen

• Strong skills in equipment maintenance and equipment repair servicing biomedical or diagnostic devices.
• Hands-on experience servicing medical equipment and performing calibrations to manufacturer/regulatory specs.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and safe work practices for powered medical devices.
• Vocational or associate degree or equivalent training in biomedical equipment technology or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation for maintenance/inspections/repairs.
• Effective communication and customer service with clinical staff and internal teams.
• Ability to lift/move equipment and work in clinical environments with infection control practices.
• Prior hospital/clinic or medical device service experience preferred.

Role Description

The Biomedical Equipment Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Puerto Rico. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining a variety of medical and diagnostic equipment in healthcare settings. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting equipment calibrations, and documenting all service activities in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The technician will collaborate with clinical staff to schedule service work, respond to urgent equipment issues, and ensure proper operation and user safety. The role also involves following established safety protocols, maintaining tools and parts inventory, and supporting continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications
