Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to handle installations, repairs, maintenance, and calibration of medical equipment under the Clinical Engineering Manager. The role includes verifying equipment safety, maintaining records, and supporting onboarding of new staff.

Ideal candidates will have associate-level educational background or related experience, with a TX driver's license and willingness to engage in on-site work in Texas. Benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with relevant maintenance experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience in biomedical equipment or related field.
• Driver's license (TXDL) or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Install, repair, and calibrate medical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections as assigned.
• Use diagnostic software and track maintenance in CMMS.
• Inspect incoming equipment for codes, standards and manufacturer instructions.
• Assist with evaluation of new equipment and supplies.
• Maintain literature, records, and part inventory for efficiency.
