Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to install, service, maintain, and calibrate medical equipment across facilities in Texas. You will perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and use diagnostic software to troubleshoot equipment to ensure patient safety and reliability.

Associate’s degree or 2 years of related experience is required, along with a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification.
• Less than 1 year of related experience is acceptable for entry level roles.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and calibrate medical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections per policy.
• Use diagnostic software to service equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports for regulatory purposes.
• Assist in evaluating new equipment and accessories; aid in reference literature maintenance.
