Job summary

MultiMedical Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our Plano, TX team on a part-time basis. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration of biomedical equipment to ensure performance and patient safety.

The role requires an Associate’s degree, 2+ years hospital biomed experience, and the ability to work independently and with clinical staff. Travel, flexible hours, and a valid US work authorization are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of biomed equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Accountability – takes ownership of assigned work.
• Communication – clearly expresses thoughts and ideas in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment
