Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to perform installations, maintenance, repairs, and calibrations of medical equipment while supporting clinical engineering operations.

You will conduct planned maintenance, use diagnostic software, document service actions, participate in on-call rotations, and help evaluate new equipment. Requires an associate’s degree or 2 years of related experience and a valid TX driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years of related work experience.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Must have valid TX driver's license (TXDL) within 90 days if moving from out of state.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and calibrate medical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
• Use diagnostic software appropriate to serviced equipment.
• Maintain PM logs and service records.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety.
