Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to service complex medical equipment at customer sites in the United States, with onsite work required at client locations. You should reside in the N. Charleston, SC area and be prepared for after-hours on-call support.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing PMs, maintaining documentation, and mentoring technicians while ensuring safety and compliance across accounts within the region.

Qualifications

• Analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Willingness to be available after hours or on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Background checks and immunization proof as required by GEHC.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex biomedical equipment issues and implement repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance, safety inspections, and document actions.
• Lead and guide technicians, coordinate with local team for service delivery.
• Maintain spares, tools, and calibration as per GE policies.
