Job summary

Harris Health seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician III to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical devices. Required are an Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronics (or equivalent with 5+ years of experience); HS/GED with 7+ years also

Job Summary

Responsible for the advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. This role involves leading maintenance projects, mentoring junior technicians, and collaborating with medical and IT teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The BMET III provides technical expertise, oversees installations, and plays a key role in medical device integration.

Minimum Qualifications

Degrees/Work Experience:

• Associates Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics or related field AND Five (5) years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair or equivalent military training

OR

• HS/GED AND Seven (7) years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair or equivalent military training

License & Certifications

Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification preferred.
