BD Interventional Surgery in Warwick, RI is seeking an R&D co-op to work with cross-functional engineering teams on medical device development. You will assist in building prototypes, running tests, and documenting results in a hands-on environment.

The role offers on-site work, exposure to state-of-the-art equipment, and opportunities to learn through on-site training courses while contributing to multiple product development projects.

Competenze

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college with good academic standing.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.

Mansioni

• Build test samples and prototypes for evaluation.
• Compile, analyze and report operational test data.
• Attend product development meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Design simple tooling, fixtures, and participate in tests.
• Assist in documenting test methods and test results.
• Train technicians on new processes and procedures.
• Identify improvement areas and suggest solutions.
